Bold and snappy shopping experience for a rebellious fashion brand

We partnered with New Amsterdam Surf Association (NASA), a Dutch lifestyle brand, to design and implement a streamlined, authentic, and fast shopping experience.

NASA was running its online shop on Lightspeed, a platform that no longer met their evolving needs. The shopping experience felt outdated, integration with modern marketing tools was limited, and the platform lacked the flexibility necessary for future growth. Technologically, NASA was ready to transition to Shopify.

From a branding and user experience perspective, NASA wanted to elevate its digital presence, emphasizing its fashion-forward identity and artistic side. The goal was to shift away from a blog-like website to a more refined, engaging e-commerce experience that would both inspire and convert.

NASA needed a partner capable of delivering a visually striking, fast, and scalable solution—and they chose Nethart for the task.

To meet NASA’s needs and overcome the challenges, we opted for a headless eCommerce architecture. Powered by Shopify and Sanity, with a storefront built using Vercel and Next.js, we delivered a rich, authentic, and image-driven experience. The result is a fast, flexible, and easy-to-edit platform, ready to scale as NASA continues to grow.
