Sorry Mom initially operated a basic Shopify store, which evolved over the years to serve multiple markets, primarily in the US and EU. The main objective of this project was to enhance the customer experience by migrating from a cumbersome Shopify Plus multistore setup to a streamlined headless ecommerce platform. In an industry where aesthetic appeal is often overlooked, Sorry Mom sought to differentiate itself through a superior customer experience.
The new design needed to reflect Sorry Mom's Nordic origins with a simplistic, minimalist aesthetic, while also being image-driven to deliver a rich brand experience. Large photos and videos were integral to creating an engaging and immersive customer journey.
By focusing on Sorry Mom's rich storytelling and creating an image-driven brand experience, we successfully positioned the brand as a leader in the tattoo care industry. The new ecommerce platform not only enhanced the user experience but also solidified Sorry Mom's status as an innovator in tattoo care, setting a new standard for customer engagement and satisfaction.
